 Will the war between Russia and Ukraine end if Putin die?


It would certainly give Russia an excuse to stop the war. But it might also open the door to hardliners like Ramzan Kadyrov and Yevgeny Prigozhin who believe that Putin has been too soft of Ukraine and should be more forceful.


Of course they would have the same problems as Putin. One must have soldiers and equipment to fight. It is far easier to coach from the sidelines than to be the actual one in charge.

Will Putin die soon?


But Putin dying would be a face saving measure for Russia to stop the war. It was Putin’s idea. He pushed the war. Now that he is dead, there is no reason to push the war any further. Putin would be vilified in order for Russia to save face. ...

Approximately 1,000 women from the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, among them Anne and Margot Frank and Auguste van Pels, were selected for forced labour in the German war industry. They left in the night of 1-2 November 1944 by train, they arrived in Bergen-Belsen two days later.  This was a concentration camp in Northern Germany, where both prisoners of war and Jews were imprisoned. Bergen-Belsen was also used as a transit camp to other camps. The women were put up in tents, but these tents were badly damaged a few days later in a storm. They were then put in barracks where there was very little space.  The camp was filthy, wet, and cold. People were hungry, unable to keep themselves clean, and contracted infectious and deadly diseases such as typhus.
