Do Iran sentenced youngsters and teenagers to death " RTP"

Iran has sentenced youngsters and teenagers to death.

Iran is killing people before they reach adulthood. There are several young offenders on death row in Iran, and the authorities continue to condemn them to death.

Girls as young as nine years old can be sentenced to death, while boys must be fifteen. From 2005 to 2015, at least 73 teenage offenders were executed. And the authorities show no signs of ending this heinous behavior.

Death penalty in Iran

Iran is the world's second-most prolific executioner, and last year's executions climbed.

Between January 1 and November 1, 2015, Iranian authorities executed at least 830 people, including at least four young criminals.

The vast majority of executions in Iran are for drug-related offenses, which are obviously prohibited by international law because they are not 'the most serious crimes'.
