Iran Human Rights Day, November 29 According to official Iranian news outlets, nine convicts were put to death this morning, Tuesday, November 29, in two distinct Iranian cities.

In the Kermanshah prison, five men and one woman were hanged:

Six inmates at the Kermanshah prison were hanged early this morning, according to the state-run Fars news agency. The story quoted Mojtaba Maleki, the prosecutor for Kermanshah, as saying that six inmates—five males and one woman—were found guilty of narcotics trafficking and given the death penalty. The names of any of the detainees were withheld.
