 What innocent-seeming picture is actually heartbreaking?


This is a picture that was taken on the 27th of July 2014 when the Ukrainian army supported by the West after the state coup attacked their fellow citizens in the East of Ukraine during an anti-terrorist operation.

The 23 old girl ‘Kristina Zhyk’ was walking her 10 months old daughter in a Park in the city of Gorlovka until they died from artillery fire.

They both experience a terrible death, looking at the picture make me feel so emotional

Kristina became afterwards known as the Madonna of Gorlovka, reffering to the paintings of Mary and Jesus Christ.

The people in the East of Ukraine never forgave this nor did they forget that the Ukrainian president Poroshenko was responsible for this.
