Unidentified woman killed in Onitsha; money and a pigeon discovered on her body


  An horrifying scene met residents of Onitsha, Anambra state, this morning upon waking up: the corpse of an old woman had been discarded at the DMGS roundabout.


Coins and pirgeons were among the objects discovered on the woman's body, according to witnesses. Her body was not dismembered. While efforts are being made to contact her relatives, her remains have been removed off the road. View the striking images below.

Dale Eldon Christensen of Gray, Iowa, a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, was posthumously awarded the  Medal of Honor for his heroic actions on July 16, 1944, in New Guinea. Christensen served as a second lieutenant in Troop E of the 112th Cavalry Regiment.  Barbara Graham was born in 1923 in Oakland, California. She had a difficult and miserable childhood (sound a familiar story?).
